LWGA/England Golf Club Representatives Meeting 16th January 2023
Our Club Reps had a great meeting today at Woodhall Spa, with support from England golf to work through how we can do the best job for all of our affiliated members, with a view to achieve our ambition to provide fun and competitive golf in Lincolnshire for amateur female players of all ages and all abilities. Thanking those who attended and those who stayed for the afternoon session with the England Golf team to discuss the Women in Golf Charter and how to encourage participation in the game.
It was good to see so many clubs represented and hear all the constructive comments that we can take forward to our meetings.
Peter Rogers
It is with great sadness that the LWGA have learned of the death of Peter Rogers at the age of 83. Peter was a County President for Lincolnshire in 2009 - 2010, and in recent years helped to run the Little Imps for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years, which he loved so much. Peter was also a member of the Course Rating Team and was a well liked and respected gentleman.
Our sincerest condolences go to his wife and family.

Great performance by Billie-Jo in La Manga
We are proud to announce that former county player Billie-Jo Smith came 5th in the Q School this week at LaManga! Well done Billie-Jo a fantastic performance!!
