Lincolnshire Girls Golf Squad
OUR AIM is
To retain, nurture and develop girl golfers of all ages and abilities within a pathway that strives for excellence.
OUR OBJECTIVES are

- To provide a pathway for girls from grassroots through to elite and national level
- To provide playing, competitive and leadership opportunities at all levels
- To offer a fun, inclusive and welcoming environment where girl golfers are encouraged to participate and build friendships that last a lifetime
- To nurture individual talent as part of a team environment
- To increase the number of girl golfers by improving communication, promotion and engagement
Registration is free for any Lincolnshire based girl golfer. We have a variety of competitions and events for girls to enter. There are opportunities for all abilities from those learning to play, without a handicap to those girls who play recreational with a handicap, as well as established and elite players.
Our events include;
- 5 x Girls Order of Merit Short Games events with PGA Professional Alison Johns @ Woodhall Spa Golf Academy & Performance Centre
- 6 x Junior Order of Merit events; 18 & 36 hole events, including the Under 18 Girls Championships; at a variety of courses across the county
- Junior Matchplay
- Other competitions include the Lincs Under 21 Girls Open Championship, Spring Stableford, Summer Stableford, President’s Day & the Junior Fundraiser
- Par 3 Challenge
- Girls Get Togethers including the Christmas Bowling Trip
- County Performance & Development Squad Training sessions & Intermediate Girls County Coaching
- County Girls Matches for Scratch & Handicap Teams, plus County Boys Vs. County Girls match & RAF match
- Midlands Girls Festival of Golf & Four Counties
- Little Imps Tour
