16members of the LGGS enjoyed an afternoon of bowling at Lincoln Bowl. Thanks to Stacey and Nel for organising and the support from parents

European Junior Open 2021

Congratulations  to Tilly Garfoot, who took part in the above.

40 girls started out and it was the 2 best rounds that counted to make the final 24. Tilly was in 16th place going into the final and finished with the 3rd best round of the day -2 to take her up the leaderboard finishing 7th. It has been an amazing week and to top it off Nick Dougherty presented all the girls with a trophy at the prize presentation dinner last night.

We are pleased to share that County Girls Player, Emily Grace has been successfully awarded a position as National Young Ambassador for The Golf Foundation & England Golf! This is very well deserved, we wish Emily all the best in her new role, excellent news!!

Congratulations to Abigail Scott on winning the Patrons Cup with a nett 69 at Blankney Golf Club on Friday, 29th October.

Congratulations to Freya Woodiwiss on winning the 2021 Match Play finals at Pottergate Golf Club played over 2 days - 27th & 28th October.

After Day 1 Freya, Neve, Izzy and Maisie qualified to the semi-finals on 28th October.

After the morning's semi-finals, Freya and Neve qualified to the Final.  Freya won the final match and was crowned Girls Junior Matchplay Champion.

Thank you Pottergate for your hospitality and well done girls!

Volunteers wanted to assist at LGGS events, either ad hoc, or just one day a year, when an event is happening nearby or at your Club, or on a more regular basis if you have time.
