We are delighted to announce that Tilly Garfoot, our Junior Captain, has been awarded a Hero's Handshake for August 2021 by the Golf Foundation and England Golf. We nominated Tilly for her work in promoting junior golf in the County, helping to run junior coaching sessions, and for her hard work and dedication to the role of Junior Captain, along with her golfing talent she is an excellent role model and ambassador for Lincolnshire golf.
Tilly was informed of this award in a surprise zoom meeting held last night and we were delighted that some of the girls, their families and members of the Executive Committee could be part of this special event.
Tilly will be presented with a trophy by the Hero's Handshake Lead Ambassador at a mutually convenient time, an interview and photos to mark the occasion will be posted on this website, and also on the England Golf website.
