Lincolnshire Women's Golf Association
The County Team had a fantastic week playing in the Midlands North Region County Week match.
On day one we played Derbyshire and had an incredible 5-0 win - what an opening match!
In the afternoon we played Shropshire and won 4.5 - 0.5.
On day 2 we had extremely tough matches which were very tight. We played a young Leicestershire Team and came through 3-2 winners.
In the afternoon we played Staffordshire in another tight match. We eventually came out 3.5 - 1.5.
On the final day against Nottinghamshire we needed a half to win the tournament for a second year in a row. We were only up in one match after nine but the team came through 3.5 - 1.5 winners.
The team all played their part but special mention must go to Ellie Haughton who won 5 out of 5.
We look forward to playing in the National Finals at Denham Golf Club in September
