Around 55 ladies enjoyed two days of great golf at South Kyme golf club on 5th and 6th June 2018.  The weather was pleasant, the course was in great condition and the food was lovely.  What more could you ask for?  A great score perhaps?  Well we had that too.  On the Tuesday singles stableford Susan Hall of Belton Park came out on top with a great score of 44 points to win the Gwen Bamber trophy.  Jean Parkinson from Woodhall Spa was second with 41 points; Beryl Clay of Spalding was third with 39 points and Margaret Barkaway, also of Spalding, was fourth on countback with 34 points.    Woodhall Spa won the team event, the Dorothy Marshall Shield (best 3 out of 4 scores from the stableford), with a total of 102 points.  The Woodhall Spa team were Jean Parkinson, Helen Heath, Lindsey Ginty and Dee Waite.

On the Wednesday it was a betterball stableford.  Again the good scores came in with a winning score of 46 points from Bridget Hardaway and Suzanne Addis from Kenwick Park and Belton Park to win the Mary Mundy Salver.  Sue Watson and Jacquie Clare of Spalding had 42 points and Eileen Bridge and Maureen Orwell,  also of Spalding, had 41 points.

Well done to all the winners, the ladies who played and to Peter,  Myra,  Janet and all the staff and members at South Kyme for making this years Spring Bronze meeting such a success.
