Little Imps Tour 2022
The Tour is a series of six 9 hole events for youngsters who are just entering the game of golf. Boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14 are welcome whether they have a handicap or not. The events are simple, enjoyable stroke play competitions. The dates and venues for 2022 are as follows : -
Monday 4th April - Belton Park Golf Club - 11.00 am..
Monday 11th April- Market Rasen Golf Club - 11.00 am.
Monday 30th May- Pottergate Golf Club - 11.00 am
Monday 25th July - Ashby Decoy Golf Club - 11.00 am
Monday 8th August -South Kyme Golf Club - 11.00 am.
Monday 22nd August - Kirton Holme Golf Club - 11.00 am
Play will be in groups of two or three and a relative should be with each player to help with recording the score, managing equipment and offering encouragement. There will be modest prizes for achievements - please dress smartly and avoid jeans and trainers on the course and in the Clubhouse. Refreshments and meals are available after play. The cost will be £4 per event or £20 if playing in all six events. . Little Imps - Belton Park
On Monday 4th April, 24 junior golfers enjoyed the hospitality of the clubhouse and the course, which was in good condition. It was pleasing to see familiar faces and also a large number of newcomers. The event was very supported by parents and grandparents, especially in the cold and breezy weather conditions.. The Results: - Handicap division played on the 9 holes of the Ancaster course from yellow and red tees – par 34 1. Blake Smith (Belton Park GC) 48-15= 33 2. Megan Bussell (Woodhall Spa GC) 64-29 = 35 Over 11 years old played on the Deer Course 1. Harry Field (Belton Park GC) 53 Also, on the Deer Course Under 11 Boys 1. Thomas Boothby (Ashby Decoy GC) 47 2. Vinnie Trestrail (Woodhall Spa GC ) 52 Under 11 Girls 1. Lois Evison (Belton Woods GC) 67
Next Event - Market Rasen 11th April
2nd Team
Lincs Girls 2nd Team travelled to Kirkby Muxlow on 13th June to play Nottinghamshire. The result was 3 - 2 win to Notts. 2 matches went down the 18th and we had 5 new players out of 7 in the team - great to have some new players in the team and experiencing County matches. Great effort girls!

Well done to the Lincs Girls 2nd Team who beat Nottinghamshire at Beedles Lake GC 3 - 2 on Wednesday, 2nd June.

WE COULD ONLY FIELD 4 2nd TEAM PLAYERS. BEING A PLAYER DOWN TO START, IT WAS A VERY DIFFICULT ASK FOR THE GIRLS, BUT THEY PUT UP A FANTASTIC FIGHT BUT SADLY LOST BOTH MATCHES
