Lincolnshire Women's Golf Association
The juniors competed for the coveted Jennings Peggotty Cups yesterday at Lincoln Golf Club. After a thundery start to the day, it turned into a lovely warm sunny afternoon. 13 junior girls took part and the prize winners were: Peggotty Cup - Winner: Tilly Garfoot with a gross 76, Runner Up Gross: Freya Woodiwiss gross 81, the best nett was Maisie Welborn (85 - 16 69) and Runner Up was Neve Begley (91 - 20 71). Congratulations to the prize winners and to all the girls and boys who took part, they all played well and are a credit to their families and golf clubs.
Special thanks to the management and staff at Lincoln Golf Club who looked after us all extremely well and ensured that it was a really good day. Many thanks to the Captain and Lady Captain of Lincoln Golf Club who were there throughout the day and presented the prize winners with their prizes, alongside LUGC President Harvey Harrison.
Unfortunately Freya Woodiwiss was unable to stay for the presentation and is therefore not in the picture.
