Corona Virus - Corvid-19

The LWGA, liaising with the LUGC and under the guidance of England Golf, is monitoring developments of the COVID-19 Virus, including the impact this will have on events that bring together groups of golfers.

We will be able to give you more information concerning our competitions and league matches in the next few days and will be in contact with the clubs in the County over the coming weeks on any policy changes.

In the meantime please continue to check this website for further updates.

We thank you for your understanding at this time.

The Taskers Trophy

LWGA are pleased to support the Taskers Trophy, which is an inter club knock out competition with the proceeds from the entry fee going directly to support junior golf in the county you represent.  Teams of 7 ladies over 50 years and a handicap of less than 28 are eligible to enter.  The entry closes on 31st January 2020.  For further details contact the Secretary, or visit the Taskers Trophy Inter-Club website.

The Lincolnshire Chicks

The Lincolnshire Chicks is run by the Lincolnshire Womens Golf Asssociation.  There are 3 principles the Lincolnshire Chicks focus on with all activities:

FUN                             FRIENDS                                                 PLAY

Having fun ...               Making frienships that last a lifetime..  Playing golf together

The Lincolnshire Chicks Tour provides the opportunity for learner girl golfers from around the county to meet one another and socialise.  The Tour offers the chance for the girls to participate at different courses using shorter adapted formats over 9 holes that are achievable to varied levels.  It is aimed at girls who are beginners, those with no handicap and those with a handicap between 37-54.  All entrants must be under 18 years of age.  Fixtures for 2020 will be posted in the Juniors Section.
