Congratulation to India Clyburn on her selection to play for England in the Home Internationals.

Our last match today was at Greetham Valley, SUCCESS at last!!

A  2-1 defeat after the mornings Foursomes, the heat was on to turn the match around. All the girls played magnificently this afternoon and each one brought home a win. 6-0 - don't think that has happaned many times in either first or second team matches. Special mention must go to Courtney Martland 15 yrs who has played in all the 2nd team matches this season. She has played some great golf although not recording a win until this afternoon.  I am sure it is the first of many.

Greetham Valley looked after us very well and couldn't do enough for us. We were welcomed by captain Anne McCulloch who had done two amazing flower arrangements in yellow with a hint of green!  We played the Lakes course and it was in excellent condition. We had the support of the vice captain Sue Brand watching the matches come into the spetular 18th green early evening. Really is a great finishing hole. The lasagne that followed really was one of the best!

Thank you to all the 2nd team players.  Hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have and I wish you continued success with Gilly next year.
