We are absolutely delighted and proud to announce that the County of Lincolnshire was awarded the title of County of the Year at the England Golf Awards 2021 on Friday 3rd June 2021.
This is a magnificent achievement for Lincolnshire and reflects the hard work that is carried out by all the sections. The LWGA and the LUGC work tirelessly together to promote and support golf for all members, the newly found Lincolnshire Girls Golf Squad bring a fresh approach to junior golf, the Golf Foundation and the Golf Partnership provide a great platform to encourage girls and boys to join our great sport. The PGA for all the coaching they provide and the unstinting work of the Club Support Officers who all collectively can share in this great victory. In the words of our past Chairman, Tracey Stobart, “with this impressive line-up, and sound leadership that work brilliantly well together towards one goal – promoting golf … not men’s golf, and women’s golf, just GOLF !”
