HANDICAP TEAM CHAMPIONS AGAIN...

MNR LEAGUE FINALS DAY - TRENT LOCK GC

For the 4th year running, on Monday, 19th August the Lincolnshire Handicap Team were crowned Champions again - well done girls, what a huge achievement.

On the day, the Handicap Team beat Shropshire 4 - 1 :- Freya won 4-2; Hattie won 8-7; Isabella won 4-3; Leah won 1 up; Teigan lost 6-5

The Scratch Team lost their match on the day to Leicestershire & Rutland 4 - 1

As always, a great day was had by all with the girls playing competitive pirate golf with Hattie Dow taking 1st prize and Ellise Rymer winning the longest drive competition.

Les Johnson Cup

The Les Johnson Cup was held at Laceby Manor GC on Friday, 16th August.

5 girls entered and the results are as follows:-

Les Johnson Cup for Best Nett was won by Tilly Garfoot (81 - 5 = 76)

Runner-up - Courtney Martland (86 - 9 = 77)

Best Gross - Ellise Rymer (88)

The Girls Matchplay finalists were announced.  This will be played at Carholme GC on Wednesday and Thursday 23rd and 24th October.  Finalists are:-

Ellise Rymer; Tilly Garfoot; Kazzia Fox; Isabella Condie; Courtney Martland; Izzy Haughton; Teigan Ward; Hattie Dow

Four Counties Girls Championships

The entry form and competition information for the Four Counties Girls Championships to be held at Ruddington Grange GC on Sunday, 1st September can be found in the 'Entry Forms' tab.

Summer Stableford

The Summer Stableford was held at Boston Golf Club on Monday, 12th August.

5 girls entered and retaining the trophy was Courtney Martland winning with 36 points.

The Little Imps Trophy was presented to Yasmin Bass, winner of the 21 to 36 handicap category with 35 points.

Well played girls.

English Girls U16/U14 Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship

Well done to Tilly & Ellise for competing in a strong international field at Gerrards Cross Golf Club in Buckinghamshire in the English Girls U16/U14 Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship, with Tilly making the cut in the U16's and Ellise just missing the U14 cut by one shot.  Tilly finished a respectable 39th place with scores of 81, 78, 81, 82.
